The Engineer
Behind the Code

Muzamal Ali
Muzamal Ali
Senior Frontend Engineer & Team Lead

Five years ago I started building UIs. Today I architect frontend systems that teams of nine developers can ship confidently in production. From hospital ERPs to real-time aviation dashboards, I've worked across industries where getting it wrong isn't an option.

I build with React.js, Next.js, and React Native — covering web and mobile from a single engineering mindset. I also work with Claude Code and Cursor AI day-to-day, which means faster delivery without the technical debt that usually comes with moving fast.

My work style is async-first, sprint-driven, and heavy on documentation. I've led teams of 3 to 9 developers across healthcare, AI, aviation, and SaaS — always focused on writing code the next engineer can actually understand. Based in Pakistan (UTC+5), with 3–5 hour overlap with European teams.

Common Headaches,
Solved.

Common challenges European tech teams bring to me.

01
Your frontend is slow and losing users
I audit, refactor, and optimize — Core Web Vitals, bundle size, lazy loading. Measurable results in 2 weeks.
02
Your codebase is a mess of inconsistent UI
I build a component library and design system your whole team can use — no more one-off hacks.
03
You need a feature shipped but your team is stretched
I plug in as a senior dev, ramp up fast, and deliver without hand-holding. Async-first, EU timezone overlap.
04
Your web app isn't working well on mobile
Mobile-first rebuild from scratch or targeted fixes — I test on real devices, not just Chrome DevTools.
05
You're migrating from an old stack to React/Next.js
I've done this multiple times. I plan the migration, keep things running, and document everything.
06
You need a tech lead, not just a developer
I run architecture decisions, code reviews, and junior mentoring — while still writing production code daily.
